1. How long have you been on DeviantArt?

Erm...*casually checks my page* Three YEARS?! Holy cow. A lot longer than I thought. o_O

2. What does your username mean?

It's not exactly deep. unfortunately. I've been considering changing it for awhile but just can't think of anything. "Shadowhawk" was my username for pretty much anything I got an account on when I started doing this interweb stuff, and since Shadowhawk was already taken I just slapped the word "art" onto my name. XD Although you can hardly call any of my drawings art. Shadowhawk isn't anything deep either, I was just thinking up a name and thought it sounded cool. Anything that I referenced there was unintentional.

3. Describe yourself in three words.

...Random artsy nugget.

4. Are you right or left handed?

I'm right handed. I'm too lazy to try to practice being ambidextrous.

5. What was your first deviation?

Ho crap...I'm going to have to look that up...

Behold it in its horrible anatomy and crappiness. o_o Seriously. My eyes are burning. (I joined deviantart when I was thirteen but I drew this when I was 12. I was still proud of it for some reason.)

6. What is your favorite type of art to create?

My favorite is digital just because I've practiced with it so much but I really like just traditional with pencil or watercolor painting. Hopefully my art classes this year will improve me in that field.

7. If you could instantly master a different kind of art style, what would it be?

Not quite sure what you mean by that, but I'm going to assume you mean medium like traditional and digital and photography and such? In that case...traditional art. I enjoy doing traditional art but I feel like I'm better at digital as of yet.

8. What was your first favorite?

This was back when Jessica Peffer was just beginning to develop FR. She was and still is my favorite digital artist.

9. What type of art do you tend to favorite most?

A lot of times I'll favorite adoptables that I buy just for convenience reasons, but other than that I tend to favorite things from fandoms I'm in. Doesn't matter the medium.

10. Who is your all-time favorite deviant artist?

...Dang it. Do you mean as in art-wise or friend-wise?

Art-Wise, neondragon has always been my favorite. Their lines and art just looks so clean and crisp...;u;

As for friend-wise, I can't just list one...

They found my art practically just as I began and always complemented my drawings and encouraged me. They're not as active as they used to be, but they still really helped me through when I felt discouraged.

They came around a little later, but even still her art style is freaking adorable and she's a really kind and funny person.

CHIMCHIM, BUDDYYYYY. Oh my goodness your paintings are just so cool looking, and you're one of my favorite people to roleplay with just because of how snazzy and developed your characters are. I have no idea how you've been able to put up with me for so long as a RP partner. XD

EYYYY CORM! YOU'RE COOL BRO! Okay seriously though, I love how we both can spill completely random crap and both somehow understand one another. You're just my random buddy. Random buddies foreverrrr

11. If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be?

Again, I can't just list one. XD neondragon because she's always been my inspiration for drawing and I have pretty much every book she's sold.

Spiritwolf120713 and Tawnwen would probably be my other pics, because I've known them for awhile and I'm really good friends with them. Or at least I think I am.

12. How has a fellow deviant impacted your life?

Well, the first commission I ever got was from thetauche. Even when I thought my art was crap they still enjoyed ordering art from me for some reason. This really compelled me to practice more and perhaps someday I'll be able to do it as a career. Of course, all of my buddies I listed above have greatly encouraged me to achieve that goal as well.

13. What are your preferred tools to create art?

For traditional art I'll use just a standard pencil and a kneadable eraser. As for digital I use Photoshop CS5 Extended, and a Wacom tablet.

14. What is the most inspirational place to create art?

Er...I don't really create art anyplace spectacular. XD I normally just stay indoors, drawing at a nearby desk or even at the dinner table. Besides, inspiration can come from pretty much anywhere. Sometimes I'll see it in the clouds, or in how the city lights dapple the rainy street in the evening. It really depends. If I were to become a professional artist though I would love to just sit and paint those kinds of things.

15. What is your favorite DeviantArt memory?

Of course the last question would be the hardest. I've had a lot of fun in the few joinme's that I've hosted. But just time I've spent with you guys and the way that my account has grown means a lot to me. I mean, 274 watchers? 274 people that liked my art and actually took the time to watch me improve and appreciate it? That means a heck of a lot to me.
